Wainright agreed to a two-way contract with the Suns on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Wainright has previous familiarity with the Phoenix organization, having played in 105 games for the club between the 2021-22 and 2022-23 season. He had made all seven of his appearances this season with the Trail Blazers, averaging 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 6.6 minutes per contest before he was waived in January. Wainright will likely serve as a depth option for the Suns and may not be able to pick up regular rotation minutes.
